Paul devises and presents orchestral concerts for young people. His ethos is really simple – choose the best possible music and find the most exciting way to introduce the orchestra to new listeners.
Paul’s presenting experience is diverse, ranging from full-scale orchestral concerts for the under 5’s to in-depth music discovery concerts for secondary school students.
Central to the concert experience is Paul’s use of technology, creating a bespoke digital presentation to act as a backdrop for the orchestra and to visually guide the audience through the music.
Participation is also an integral part of his concerts, encouraging young people to make music with some of the world’s greatest orchestras.
Paul has created and presented schools and family concerts for:
BBC Proms, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra, Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra, New York Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg, Philharmonia Orchestra, Royal Northern Sinfonia, Royal Opera House, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, RTÉ Concert Orchestra, RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra, Scottish Chamber Orchestra, Scottish Ensemble, Sinfonie Orchester Wuppertal, Staatskapelle Halle, Tonkunstler-Orchester Niederosterreich, Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra
